Rapid app building with Darksoil

FriendZones build session video

Last Thursday we had our first build session with Darksoil Studio.

It was pretty rad. We explored the building of an app where we get to see and overlay the timezones of our friends in order to see who might be available when.

The session starts with Guillem getting to see a sketch of what the UI could look like, he knew that we would be building something with timezones but a part from that we started by introducing what this app would be in the session.

After 15 minutes of intro he got to work in building the app using lots of the tools, modules and templates that we have been working on for years at darksoil.

It was a fast ride of stringing everything together and getting the needed pieces of backend and UI made for this app Proof of Concept.

We got to an app that was distributed and two of us could befriend each other and see each others timezones in just the 2 hours that the session lasted all thanks to the modules and templates that we have available.
